STEVE FAGAN - Photographer

Photography has allowed me to capture and share the special moments of my life; of nature, architecture, of the people I have met and the experiences I have enjoyed. Photography lets me see things differently, in greater depth and with more understanding.

The subjects that cause me to pick up my camera remain quite varied.  However my photography projects are increasingly focused on telling the stories of people.  I often find that the deeper my interest in the person, the more interesting is the story. This perfectly complements the enjoyment I get from exploring new locations and learning of different cultures and lifestyles. Documenting and sharing these stories in an honest, unbiased manner is what I love and what I strive for.

From a very young age, I have believed that "there is so much more to life than meets the eye”. An artist at heart, the arts have been the means to satisfy my curiosity and seek more profound meaning in my life and the world in which I live. I am educated as a Visual Graphic Artist and since the early days of my career, my interest in photography has allowed me to work with several international photographers from my home in Kathmandu, Nepal.

I met Steve in 2020 while he was photographing in my country. I was immediately drawn to his photographic style as I appreciated the deep respect he showed in documenting the local people, how he noticed the little things around him, and the honest intention of his work. Being part of the team at Steve Fagan Photography is fun, supports my personal growth, and is making me a better artist as I expand my skills and continue to learn, travel, and explore.
